How it works
Four steps to a permanent place on the web.
Pixel Quest works like the original million dollar homepage, rebuilt for how people actually browse now: crisp, fast, mobile friendly and searchable. The idea is unchanged — a million pixels, one unit of currency each, sold once and kept forever.
Pick your pixels
The homepage is a single 1,000 × 1,000 canvas — exactly one million pixels. Drag across any empty area to select the pixels you want, or type precise coordinates if you have a spot in mind. If a pixel is already claimed, the grid won't let you take it.
Upload your graphic
Your block is your billboard. Upload a small image and it fills your area, or choose a solid brand colour if you'd rather keep it clean. Bigger blocks mean bigger, sharper artwork — a 10 × 10 selection reads as a tiny badge, a 100 × 100 reads as a logo.
Add your link
Point your block at any website you like: your shop, your portfolio, your band, your charity, your startup. Visitors who click your pixels land straight on you. Hovering shows your name and destination.
Stay up forever
There are no monthly fees, no renewals and no takedowns. Once the last of the million pixels is claimed, purchasing closes permanently and the wall becomes a fixed snapshot of everyone who took part.
What does a pixel actually cost?
One pixel is one unit of the site currency — a dollar, a pound or a euro, depending on how the site is set. There is no minimum beyond a single pixel and no maximum beyond the full million. Prices never change: the last pixel costs the same as the first.
